Liquid & Vinyl Vehicle Wrap FAQ

How much does a vehicle wrap cost?

Liquid vehicle wraps start at $1,500. Vinyl vehicle wraps start at $3,500. Partial wraps, printed graphics, specialty finishes, commercial designs, and complex vehicles are quoted based on coverage, material, preparation, design work, and installation difficulty.

What is the difference between a liquid wrap and a vinyl wrap?

A liquid wrap is a removable coating system applied in multiple layers. A vinyl wrap uses automotive wrap film installed panel by panel. They offer different finishes, installation methods, maintenance needs, price points, and design possibilities.

How long does a vinyl vehicle wrap last?

A professionally installed vinyl wrap can last up to five years depending on material, installation, storage, sun exposure, washing, maintenance, road use, and the surfaces being wrapped.

Can a vehicle wrap be removed?

Yes. A properly installed wrap can generally be removed from solid factory paint. Paint condition, previous bodywork, failing clear coat, rust, and poor repairs can affect removal and the condition underneath.

Can a wrap cover peeling or damaged paint?

A wrap is not a repair for peeling, bubbling, rusting, or failing paint. Weak surfaces may prevent proper adhesion and can lift during installation or removal. The vehicle should be evaluated before a final recommendation.

Do vehicle wraps protect the paint?

A wrap can help shield paint from light wear, UV exposure, and minor debris. Paint Protection Film is the stronger choice when impact protection from rock chips and road debris is the main goal.

CHROME DELETE

Trim Blackout & Wheel Wrap FAQ

How much does chrome delete cost?

Liquid chrome delete starts at $300. Vinyl chrome delete starts at $500. Final pricing depends on the amount of chrome, trim shape, badges, mirror caps, handles, roof rails, grilles, emblems, and access.

What can be included in a chrome-delete package?

Common areas include window trim, badges, emblems, grilles, mirror caps, handles, roof rails, bumper trim, exhaust accents, and other bright exterior details.

How much does it cost to wrap wheels?

A set of four wheels measuring 19 inches or smaller is $250. Sets measuring 20 inches or larger start at $300. Wheel design, condition, size, spokes, and coverage can affect the final quote.

Should I choose liquid or vinyl chrome delete?

The better option depends on the parts being blacked out, desired finish, budget, surface shape, durability expectations, and whether the project includes small detailed pieces or broad trim areas.

COMMERCIAL VEHICLE WRAPS

Business Branding & Fleet Wrap FAQ

How much does a commercial vehicle wrap cost?

Full commercial vinyl wraps start at $3,500. Partial wraps, lettering, logos, fleet packages, trailers, and specialty business graphics require a custom quote.

Can you wrap work trucks, vans, and trailers?

Yes. Rowdy’s Wraps works on pickup trucks, utility vehicles, cargo vans, company fleets, enclosed trailers, race haulers, food trailers, school vehicles, church vans, and promotional vehicles.

Can one design be used across an entire fleet?

Yes. A master design can be adapted across different vehicle sizes so trucks, vans, cars, and trailers keep a consistent brand appearance.

What information should be included on a business wrap?

Most commercial layouts prioritize the business name, logo, services, phone number, website, service area, and a clear message that can be read from a distance. QR codes and social media handles may also be included.

PAINT PROTECTION FILM

PPF Coverage & Protection FAQ

How much does Paint Protection Film cost?

PPF is custom quoted because coverage can range from a few high-impact areas to the front end or the full vehicle. Vehicle size, surface condition, panel complexity, film selection, preparation, and total coverage affect pricing.

Does PPF help prevent rock chips?

Paint Protection Film helps significantly reduce damage from rock chips, road debris, bugs, scuffs, and other common hazards.

Is Paint Protection Film visible?

Modern PPF is designed for high clarity and a nearly invisible appearance while protecting the finish underneath.

What areas can be protected?

Common areas include the front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, headlights, rocker panels, door edges, cargo openings, and other high-impact surfaces. Full-vehicle and custom coverage are also available.

STARLIGHTS & CUSTOM LIGHTING

Interior, Exterior & Underglow FAQ

How much does a starlight headliner cost?

Starlight headliners are custom quoted. Price depends on vehicle size, headliner construction, star count, density, RGB features, shooting stars, controller type, wiring access, and installation complexity.

Can starlights change color?

Yes. Compatible RGB systems can provide color changes, brightness control, presets, app control, twinkle effects, and other lighting modes.

Can shooting stars be added?

Yes. Shooting-star effects are a popular upgrade and can be combined with a standard or RGB fiber-optic star field.

Does Rowdy’s install underglow and exterior lighting?

Yes. Available projects include underglow, grille lighting, front-end accents, exterior lighting, footwell lighting, door lighting, dashboard accents, and show-vehicle lighting.

GETTING STARTED

Quote, Photos & Scheduling FAQ

What information should I send for a quote?

Send the year, make, model, requested service, desired finish, coverage area, current vehicle condition, project goals, and clear photos from multiple angles.

Why are photos important?

Photos help identify vehicle size, body lines, trim, existing damage, peeling paint, rust, modifications, access issues, and the amount of material needed.

Is the starting price the final price?

No. Starting prices represent basic qualifying projects. Vehicle size, condition, coverage, material, design, preparation, complexity, disassembly, and access determine the final quote.
